Kelly was back from tending to the new addition to the family. We did some interval work tonight.

On the 3 minute mark:
  • 9 squat cleans (135#)
  • 9 pullups
0:45 - 115#
0:51 - 135#
1:20 - 135#
1:27 - 135#
1:30 - 135#

We did 5 rounds, and finished the evening off with some L hangs from the pullup bar (2:30 cumulative). I thought 135# was going to be too much so I started the first round with 115. I finished too quckly, per Kelly, and loaded up the extra weight on the bar. Cycling the cleans as fast as possible seemed to lighten the load. It's the standing there with the bar, or even spending too long under tension in the starting position that took its toll on me. A 'touch and go' approach worked much better in my opinion.
